ABOUT

Making Change Possible

Welcome to Lettuce Hope: The Alexander Kush Foundation, where second chances meet purpose. Originally founded by Alexander Kush at just 16 years old, this nonprofit began with a vision: to offer real hope and tangible support to those battling addiction and seeking a path to recovery.

What started as a teenager’s mission to make a difference has grown into a dedicated fund that helps individuals access life-changing rehabilitation programs, therapy, and reintegration support. At Lettuce Hope, we believe in nurturing personal growth, dignity, and the strength it takes to start over—because everyone deserves the opportunity to heal and rebuild their life.

“Receiving the Lettuce Hope scholarship changed the course of my recovery. It's a powerful thing to be supported by an organization that truly believes in second chances. Lettuce Hope’s investment in people like me gave me the strength and the means to rebuild my life and look forward to a future filled with hope."
